Morocco Itinerary Marrakech to Casablanca 6-Day Tour

Day 1Marrakesh - Ait benhaddou - Ouarzazate - roses valley - Boumaln dades

Upon your arrival at the airport, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation, a charming Riad or hotel.

If you arrive early in the morning, you can immediately embark on a city tour to explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech. However, if your arrival is later in the day, the city tour will be scheduled for your return from the 7-day desert adventure.

Your 7-day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will take you on a breathtaking journey through the Sahara Desert. You’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night in a romantic Riad or hotel.

Day 2Boumaln dades - Tinghir - Erfoud- Erg chebbi

After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll embark on the second day of your 6-day Marrakech to Casablanca tour. Our journey will take us from Boumalne Dades to the stunning Erg Chebbi desert, passing through the picturesque town of Tinghir.

En route, we’ll visit the Todra Gorges, a breathtaking natural wonder where towering cliffs frame a narrow valley. We’ll explore the source of the water that flows through the gorge and witness the lush palm groves that thrive in this arid landscape.

After a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant, we’ll continue our journey to Erfoud. Upon arrival, we’ll meet our camel caravan and begin our trek across the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. As the sun begins to set, we’ll pause to admire the breathtaking panoramic views and capture unforgettable photos.

Finally, we’ll arrive at our desert camp, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the Berber hosts. After a delicious dinner, you can relax by the campfire, listen to traditional Berber music, and gaze at the starry night sky.

Day 3Merzouga village

After a breathtaking sunrise and a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on our third day of desert exploration. We’ll encounter nomadic communities, gaining insights into their unique way of life and the reasons behind their choice to live in the vast Sahara Desert.

We’ll also visit a small village inhabited by the Black people, where we’ll be treated to a captivating performance of Gnawa music and a glimpse into their rich cultural traditions.

Later, we’ll explore a serene lake shared by the surrounding villages. After a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant in Merzouga, we’ll have some free time to wander the town. We’ll then return to the hotel for the night.

Day 4Merzouga - Midelt - Azrou - Ifran -Fes

Wake up to a delicious breakfast, then embark on a scenic drive through the Draa Valley to Errachidia. Enjoy panoramic views of the valley and capture stunning photos. Continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains, passing through the Zaabal Tunnel, before arriving in Midlet for a relaxing lunch.

After lunch, explore the enchanting Azrou Forest, home to playful Barbary apes. Continue your journey to the charming city of Ifran, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Admire its clean streets, beautiful architecture, and the iconic Stone Lion monument.

Arrive in Fes in the afternoon, check into your hotel, and relax after a long day of travel.

Day 5Fes Guided Tour

After breakfast, we’ll meet our guide at the same location where we dropped you off. We’ll embark on a 3-4 hour guided tour of Fes, exploring its historic Medina and learning about its rich cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and bustling markets. We’ll then return to the hotel/riad.

Day 6Fes to Casablanca

On the final day of your 6-Day tour from Marrakech to Casablanca, we’ll embark on a scenic drive from Fez to Casablanca. This efficient route will take approximately four hours.

Upon arrival in Casablanca, we’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. You’ll have an hour and a half to explore its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere.

After the mosque visit, we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch. Following lunch, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you can relax and unwind.
