Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced staff. They will be on hand to assist you with your luggage and any other needs you may have. You will then be transferred in comfort to your luxurious Riad, a traditional Moroccan guesthouse. Settle in and relax in your stylish and comfortable accommodation.

Day 2Fes - Guided Visit of the Medina

Start on a captivating guided tour of the historic Medina of Fes, Morocco’s ancient imperial city, established in 808 AD. This journey begins through the majestic Golden Gate of the Royal Palace, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the sprawling, centuries-old Medina.

As you delve into the labyrinthine streets of the Medina, you’ll be transported back in time, experiencing the sensory overload of sights, sounds, and aromas that have captivated visitors for centuries. After a delicious breakfast at 8:00 AM, weโ€™ll embark on a scenic 3-hour journey through the stunning Moroccan countryside.

Our destination, Chefchaoun, is a hidden gem nestled between two majestic mountains, earning its name โ€œech-Chaoua,โ€ meaning โ€œthe horns.โ€ This picturesque town is renowned for its distinctive blue-washed buildings, winding cobblestone streets, and charming squares adorned with colorful flowers and traditional fountains.

Founded in 1471, Chefchaoun has a rich history influenced by Andalusian culture. The city’s unique architectural style, with its intricate tilework and ornate doors, reflects the heritage of its Andalusian exiles. The old city, perched high on a mountainside, is home to numerous springs and historic sites, including the impressive Uta al-Hamman square, where you’ll find the majestic fortress and a striking octagonal minaret.

Our adventure begins in the vibrant city of Fes. From there, we’ll journey through the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be in the charming town of Ifrane, often referred to as the “African Switzerland” due to its clean streets, alpine architecture, and lush greenery.

Next, we’ll venture to Azrou, a Berber village renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, particularly its intricate carpets and stunning wood carvings. From Azrou, we’ll continue our journey to Midelt, a bustling town nestled amidst the Atlas Mountains.

Our route will then take us over the dramatic Tizi n’Talghmt pass, soaring to an altitude of 1,907 meters. This breathtaking mountain pass offers stunning panoramic views of the rugged, barren landscape.

As we descend, we’ll enter the fertile Ziz Valley, a verdant oasis dotted with palm trees. We’ll continue along this scenic route, passing through the bustling town of Erfoud, known for its fossil trade.

Our final destination is the awe-inspiring Erg Chebbi dunes. We’ll arrive at our luxurious desert Riad, situated at the foot of these towering sand dunes. Day 5Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a thrilling 4×4 adventure through the iconic Paris-Dakar Rally route. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking desert landscapes, visiting a nomadic family for a warm cup of traditional Moroccan tea. Witness the stunning oasis that served as the backdrop for the film “Sahara,” starring Penelope Cruz, and explore the unique village of the “Blacks,” inhabited by descendants of Sudanese migrants.

Following a delicious lunch, trade your 4×4 for a majestic dromedary and venture deep into the heart of the vast desert. Next, embark on a journey to the bustling market town of Rissani. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere as local nomads gather to trade goods and livestock. This unique experience offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional way of life in the desert.

Continue your adventure to Erfoud, a town renowned for its fossil deposits. Visit the intriguing fossil workshops where skilled artisans meticulously extract and polish ancient fossils, some dating back hundreds of millions of years.

Day 7Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Hadou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate, a city steeped in history. Here, we’ll visit the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, once the residence of the powerful Pasha of Marrakech. This fortified kasbah, with its distinctive crenellated towers, offers a glimpse into the region’s rich past.

Continuing our journey, we’ll travel 30 kilometers to the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A short walk through a picturesque landscape dotted with traditional mud-brick houses and small villages will lead us to this UNESCO World Heritage site.

We’ll also explore the Kasbah of Telouet and enjoy a delicious lunch in the area. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a scenic drive through the stunning Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and traversing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which reaches an altitude of 2,260 meters.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll arrive in Marrakech, where we’ll check into our cozy Riad.

Day 8Marrakech - Guided Visit of the Medina of Marrakech

Enjoy a free day to explore the vibrant city of Marrakech at your own pace. You may choose to embark on an optional guided tour to delve deeper into the city’s rich history and culture.

Visit the stunning Majorelle Gardens, a botanical paradise adorned with exotic plants and vibrant colors. Discover the Saadian Tombs, the final resting place of the city’s former rulers. Explore the opulent Bahia Palace, once the residence of a powerful Vizier.
